URGENT PRESS RELEASE

The Supervisor of Elections hereby informs the general public that the persons who applied and received Advance Voter Cards today Monday 24th February, 2025 will NOT be permitted to vote at the Advance Polls on Tuesday 25th, 2025. Late registration is NOT permitted under Section 63 (2) of the Elections Act 2019, as amended. However, persons who applied to be registered today Monday the 24th, 2025, will have the right to vote on General Elections day, Wednesday 26th February, 2025.
Any persons who registered between 29th January, 2025 and 10th February, 2025 for Advance Voting are not affected and can still vote early on Tuesday 25 February, 2025.
The Supervisor of Elections hereby apologizes for any confusion and inconvenience this change will cause.
